Corona Divinae Misericordiae--Chaplet of Divine Mercy

In nomine Patris,

In the name of the Father,

et Filii,

       and of the Son,

et Spiritus Sancti.

       and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Iesu, qui expletis,

       You expired Jesus,

sed pro animas fons vitae ante continuatus,

but the source of life gushed forth for souls,

et oceanus misericordiae pro totius mundi adaperire est.

and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.

O fons vitae,

       Oh Fount of life,

misericordia divinae investigabilae,

       unfathomable Divine Mercy

implica totius mundi,

       envelop the whole world,

et super nos te inane!

and empty Yourself out upon us.

O sanguis et aqua,

       Oh Blood and Water,

qui ex cordis Iesu Christi displodebas tamquam

which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus,

fons misericordiae pro nobis,

as a Fountain of Mercy for us,

ego tibi confido!

       I trust in You!

(Recite "O sanguis et aqua..."  3 times)

Pater noster,

Panem  nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,

give us this day our daily bread,

et dimitte nobis debita nostra,

       and forgive us our trespasses,

sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.

as we forgive those that trespass against us.

Et ne nos inducas in  tentationem,

And lead us not into temptation,

sed libera nos a malo.

Et Iesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui,

nobis post hoc exsilium ostende.

And after this our exile show unto us

the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
